THE BOOK

The book is something I created in 2002 maybe. I set out to build a collage page for some of the more important events or people in my life. I envisioned that I would one day add typography, a minimal of words and print a small number of them. I’m not much for writing and needed an outlet to express some things. I don’t know why I didn’t understand at the time that they would be highly personal. I put them up for show at some point and could barely talk about them. People would ask and I just wanted to hide. I may sometime resurrect this project but for now they live in my flat files. Collectively I still refer to them as The Book.
